2025 Subaru Solterra EV makes a debut in North America

The refreshed Solterra SUV sports a new front fascia and will only be available with two motors when it goes on sale in the USA in late 2025.

The 2WD version is no longer available, so you’ll have to settle for a dual-motor AWD variant with 236 PS (233 hp / 174 kW) now. It’s 18 horsepower more than in the old version, so arguably worth the switch. Should you want something sportier, the all-new Solterra XT packs 343 PS (338 hp / 252 kW) and sprints to 60 miles per hour (96.6 km/h) in under five seconds.

With a battery pack rated at 74.7 kilowatt-hours, the new Solterra lineup promises up to 460 km (286 miles) of EPA range.
