Novelties
Exeed – a premium automobile marque founded by Chery – already has TX, TXL and LX models on its lineup. A new seven-seat crossover SUV called the VX will complement the range next year, with the first pics already available.
The VX sports an original radiator grille and headlight design, while remaining more or less the same old Exeed fare from behind. The cabin trim corresponds to what we’ve seen in the more affordable LX model.
A pre-production copy of the car will be exhibited for everyone to see at the Auto Guangzhou show on November 22, 2019. All Exeed vehicles ship with the same single-option engine under the hood: a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder unit burning gasoline for 197 hp (147 kW) and 290 Nm (214 lb-ft) of torque. The transmission is Getrag 7-G DCT. AWD remains unconfirmed so far.
At 4,970 mm (16.31 ft.) long, 1,940 mm (6.36 ft.) wide and 1,795 mm (5.89 ft.) tall with 2,900 mm (9.51 ft.) separating the axles, this is going to be Chery’s largest SUV to date. As such, it will ship with wheels ranging between 18 and 20 inches in diameter.
