Dirty Tesla Semi trucks spotted on carriers

A couple Tesla Semi test vehicles have been discovered recently, allegedly transported back from Alaska, USA after what seems to have been a particularly nasty series of tests. The production should launch later this year, so let us have a closer look.

Facebook group Tesla Owners Worldwide, which posted these images, points out that both trucks are covered in dirt and dust after tests. A witness also claims one of the EVs had its suspension severely damaged, which would explain the need for a flatbed recovery truck.

In the beginning of the year, Tesla informed all would-be Semi buyers that it was launching a series of road tests to see how well the trucks would perform in cold environments. This is why we assumed that the test location was in Alaska.

According to Elon Musk, the Semi series offers up to 600 miles (965 kilometers) of range and up to 80,000 lbs (36,287 kg) of towing capacity.
