Video: 57-year-old F-250 Super Duty is a powerful restomod

Ford Era has posted a video on YouTube dedicated to a fully restored and modernized 1964 Ford F-250 truck. The vehicle was cobbled together from various parts that used to belong to other cars, but the design seems surprisingly consistent.

Las-Vegas-based shop Hodson Motors was responsible for the project. Its employees – father and son – designed a city-friendly short truck bed from scratch, put a roll bar on it, and added a bull bar at the front. The fenders stem from an F-600, and the upper cab is so tall because it originates from an F-800. Apparently, a firefighting crew who had to use the truck in the past needed to be able to sit inside in their full gear including helmets, so of course having plenty of interior space was a priority.

Modern touches include a digital gauge cluster, brown leather upholstery, and a 7.5-liter V8 under the hood with a Holley Sniper electronic system of distributed injection. Watch the video to learn more about this unique project.
