Meet Adria Supersonic, a new Sprinter-based premium motorhome

We have seen many Mercedes-Benz Sprinter RVs, but this one strikes a compelling balance between luxury, equipment on board and price. Made by Slovenian company Adria, it is called the Supersonic.

Buyers have four main modifications to choose from: 780 SL, 780 DC, 890 LL and 890 LC. The latter two have larger bathrooms, but all are suited for at least four people, fully accommodating them with beds and other necessities.

One of the more appealing sides of the Adria Supersonic is its intensive use of premium trimming materials and a smart layout of the rooms, including the living room, the kitchen, the bedroom and the shower room. Swiveling mechanisms let the space be used with utmost efficiency, and there is still plenty of storage scattered around the cabin. The queen’s bed at the ceiling is power-assisted, and there is a roomy L-shaped sofa in the living room.

Powering the Adria Supersonic is a 2.0-liter TDI engine rated at 170 PS (168 hp / 125 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. Prices start from $142,000 for the base trim.
