Have a look at a BMW M3 rocking a V10 from an E60 M5

Renner has unveiled a restomod based on an E30 BMW M3. The car was swapped to the ten-cylinder mill powering the 2008 BMW M5 (E60), The Drive reports citing car photographer Larry Chen. You can order a similar conversion as long as you can afford paying $350,000 or more for it.

The exterior and cabin stay nearly stock except for a mild restoration, body panels resprayed with the tuner’s own graphics, a new dashboard and a premium audio system. On the outside, the main highlight is probably found in the arches. The 18-inch wheels feature an aerodynamic design developed specifically for this project car and wear a manually applied paint coat.

The engine bay and chassis have been rebuilt from the ground up to accommodate the much larger engine and support its full weight.

In its stock form, the E30 generation of the BMW M3 produced 200 PS (197 hp / 147 kW). The V10 made 500 PS (493 hp / 368 kW) in the original M5, but Renner had it boosted to 625 PS (616 hp / 460 kW) for the purpose of this project.
