Facelifted Genesis G80 spotted in a parking lot

Hyundai is getting ready to update the Genesis G80, as evidenced by this unofficial video filmed by YouTuber Woopa. Aside from refreshed looks, the sedan is expected to gain new multimedia tech.

The car shown in the video has its body heavily draped over with camo, suggesting that there are major design changes underneath. Despite this, the author was able to discern pixelated headlight patterns with thinner horizontal light stripes than before. Other than that, the lights look like those on the recent Genesis concept cars.

Elsewhere, the pre-production example has visibly reshaped bumpers and what appears to be a larger front grille. The thick camo on the sides suggests that they, too, have been reworked. Inside, most of us expect to see a single solid screen bringing together the digital dashboard and the infotainment system.

The powertrain options will likely stay the same, although a minor power boost is not out of the question. The full reveal is expected in the fall.
