Hennessey waves Ram 1500 TRX goodbye with a 1,012-PS Mammoth Last Stand

The tuners over at Hennessey have filmed a short video dedicated to the final edition of their Mammoth 1000 truck, dubbed the Last Stand. It packs a 6.2-liter V8 tuned to 1,012 PS (998 hp) and is considered the world’s fastest production truck, but you won’t be able to order one past 2024.

In its stock form, the Ram truck pumps out 712 PS (702 hp / 524 kW) and 881 Nm (650 lb-ft) of torque to the wheels. Hennessey upgrades the engine with a custom turbocharger setup and a host of other components. As a result, the powertrain delivers 1,012 PS (998 hp / 744 kW) and 1,314 Nm (969 lb-ft) to the wheels. The tuning company reckons that the Mammoth can reach 96.6 km/h (60 mph) from standstill in 3.2 seconds.

The Last Stand Edition has no mechanical innovations compared to the standard Mammoth spec. It does come with new red, orange and blue finish options, as well as some exclusive decals around the bed. No more than 200 units will be made, each with a serial number plaque.

Engine aside, the Mammoth 1000 boasts a slew of other aftermarket modifications. These include lifted suspension, custom wheels shod in 37-inch tires and reinforced bumpers. Those planning on taking their pickup into the wilderness for days on end may order a camping accessory pack as well.
