2025 Changan Uni-V lands in China

Changan has refreshed its Uni-V liftback offering on its domestic market.

Starting with the front end, the radiator grille now sports a triangular cell pattern. The side intakes sport revised trims, and while the headlights look the same as before, there is an added LED bar between them.

Alloy wheels with new spoke patterns are the only notable change in the side view. The rear bumper and tailpipes have been slightly retouched, too, but the taillights and the pop-up tailgate spoiler stay the same.

The Uni-V is offered as a hybrid in China. It combines a 1.5-liter engine rated at 110 PS (108 hp / 81 kW) with one out of two possible electric motors – 190 PS (187 hp / 140 kW) or 215 PS (212 hp / 158 kW). The main difference is that the weaker motor is bundled with a small 9-kWh battery rated for 50 km (31 miles) of range, while the stronger one comes with a 19-kWh pack that’s enough for 111 km (69 miles).

The interior is largely unchanged. Changan mentions new green leather trim on the seats and the dashboard, but not much otherwise.
