Infiniti QX60 trades V6 for a 2.0T

Infiniti has joined in on the trend of getting rid of dirty large-displacement engines. The QX60 has lost its V6 in the latest model year update, ending up with a turbocharged four-pot instead.

This change brings the new QX60 on par with its junior cousins, the QX50 and QX55. The mill churns out 272 PS (268 hp / 200 kW) and 286 Nm (214 lb-ft) of torque to a nine-speed automatic transmission.

The manufacturer argues that the difference from the old V6 is minimal, since that one made 299 PS (295 hp / 220 kW) and 366 Nm (270 lb-ft) of torque. On the upside, the four-banger should have better fuel economy. The sprint times haven’t been disclosed so far, but the V6 version wasn’t too agile with a launch time of 7.9 seconds.

Trim-wise, the SUV features a multimedia system with a 12.3-inch display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, Sirius XM radio, and a smart rearview mirror. It also offers a surround-view camera system with moving object recognition, a remote lock/unlock feature, and up to 17 audio speakers in the Luxe trim.

The familiar ProPILOT Assist package delivers advanced cruise control functionality, and you can opt for a styling package called Black Edition. It comes with 20-inch black wheels, backlight for the Nissan logo and the radiator grille, special badging all around and black roof rails.

In the United States, the 2025 Infiniti QX60 starts from $50,200.
