Xiaomi SU7 Ultra revealed in more detail

Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has confirmed that the company’s first three-motor hypercar, the SU7 Ultra, is scheduled for small-scale production in the first quarter of 2025.

He added that customers would initially get a power-locked version of the car out of safety considerations. It will be limited in terms of horsepower output, torque and top speed by default. Those willing to tap into the full potential of their EV – 1,548 PS (1,527 hp / 1,140 kW) – will have to pass a special driving mastery exam first.

In October, a prototype of the car will hit the Nürburgring track to try and beat the high score set by the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT.
