Porsche 944 six-wheel truck can be yours for €100k

A completely unique Porsche 944 remodeled into a tri-axle pickup truck by its owner is up for grabs in Karlsbad, Germany for a cool €99,900.

The owner claims that it took over 2,500 hours to create, and we can see why. The chassis had to be stretched and new axles had to be sourced from multiple Audi 200 Turbo models. The cargo bed was designed from the ground up, complete with oak lining, an aluminum storage case for the droptop, and tethering eyes for keeping larger cargo in place. All in all, the build looks very professionally done and suitable for hauling weight around – if that’s your idea of using a Porsche, at any rate.

The engine is a three-liter, four-cylinder Porsche mill rated at 240 PS (237 hp / 177 kW). The seller points out that it is a replacement engine and not the original one. The transmission is manual, but the listing fails to mention which of the wheels are driven. We wouldn’t be surprised if just one rear axle got all the torque to itself.

Rounding off the spectacular conversion is an interior with bright orange upholstery on the seats, a “Porsche Pickup” badge on the steering wheel, and “944S 6 Pickup” plaques on the kick plates.
