Ferrari Purosangue envisioned as a true off-roader

Delta4x4, a tuning company known for its occasionally extreme but invariably cool off-road conversions, has once again justified its reputation by sketching up an overlanding Ferrari Purosangue camper. It only exists in these 3D renderings right now, but the tuner says it will produce it as long as anyone is interested.

Judging by the images, the Purosangue can make quite a compelling expedition SUV with some well-appointed mods. These include raised suspension, grippy mud tires wrapped around sturdy-looking wheels, and a roof rack with a camping tent inside.

A plenty of attachments can be seen all around, including light bars on the front bumper, hood and tailgate, a spare wheel, and a shovel at the back. Interestingly enough, Ferrari’s stock aerodynamic aprons stay in place.

Delta4x4 never mentioned any powertrain upgrades, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. When it debuted two years ago, the Purosangue received a 6.5-liter V12 tuned to 725 PS (715 hp / 533 kW) and an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission conveying the torque to all four wheels. That’s arguably plenty for all off-road uses.
