Audi A7 coming soon to replace A6

Audi has confirmed that a new gas-powered A7 is coming in early 2025, destined to replace the current A6 lineup (see video).

In case you missed it, Audi decided to overhaul its naming scheme, reserving odd numbers (3, 5, 7 etc.) for cars with an internal combustion engine and even numbers (4, 6, 8) for EVs. In practical sense, it means that the new A7 will be a direct continuation of the A6 lineup for drivers who prefer ICE cars.

The all-electric A6 e-tron has already debuted, and sales should start soon. Next up, Audi plans to unveils the next generation of the Q5 Sportback. It is expected to hit the spotlight later this month.
