Ram Rampage gets refreshed in Brazil

The relatively young Brazilian truck has just gone through its first facelift.

Those looking to save money may now go for a new base spec named Bighorn. It is a very basic-looking, no-frills version for those needing a workhorse, not a driveway decoration.

The old 2.0-liter TDI engine rated at 170 PS (168 hp / 125 kW) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) of torque is no longer available. Ram replaces it with a superior 2.2-liter mill capable of 200 PS (197 hp / /147 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque. It works in tandem with a nine-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system.

Last but by no means least, the 2025 Ram Rampage starts cheaper than the original – 230,000 Brazilian Real instead of 255,000.
