BYD hits new sales records
The Chinese electrified carmaker has surpassed Ford by the number of vehicles sold in Q3 2024, rising to the sixth position in the worldwide ranking.
BYD has managed to find owners for 1.13 million all-electric and hybrid cars in three months, overtaking Ford by around 40,000 units. It came just 10,000 units short of displacing Stellantis from the fifth line.
The company is now on track to surpassing 4,000,000 unit sales by the end of the year.
