Peugeot Landtrek gains a top-of-of-the-line diesel spec

Peugeot has facelifted its Landtrek pickup, which is available outside of Europe and based on a Changan truck.

Like the company’s other recent releases, the new Landtrek is now obtainable with a 2.2-liter four-pot rated at 200 PS (197 hp / 147 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission drives all four wheels by default, but you can go for a six-speed manual instead. The AWD system now features an electronic rear diff lock and supports multiple modes. Peugeot claims the updated truck can haul and tow more weight, but doesn’t reveal any details.

Depending on your region, the 2025 Landtrek model may also be available with a 1.9-liter diesel engine or a 2.4-liter petrol four-pot. The former produces 150 PS (148 hp / 118 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque, while the latter pumps out 210 PS (207 hp / 154 kW). Both use a six-speed manual for the transmission, but the gas engine is the only one that can go six-speed auto instead.

On the outside, novelty boils down to revised light signatures, radiator grille pattern and front bumper. Inside, the 10-inch infotainment display gets a new UI and more wireless link options. Last but not least, you can ask for the two front seats to be replaced with a bench seat for three. It comes divided into handy sections, so you can fold them down when not in use.
