2025 BMW iX teased ahead of premiere next month

BMW has shared some early photos of its updated iX crossover running on electric power.

It doesn’t look like there are any major design changes, aside from new headlight patterns. BMW will likely bump up the maximum wheel size from 22 to 23 inches and replace standard tires with low-resistance ones. It’s also official that the company has extended the battery pack and found a way to make the powertrain 4% more efficient. All in all, these measures should extend the range by 10% or so, BMW says.

The new iX will break cover on January 28, 2025.
