BMW M3 electric replacement teased

BMW has posted a handful of photos showing a Neue Klasse sedan coming to offer an electric alternative to the M3.

The pre-production test vehicle continues to wear a thick layer of mottled camo, but there is no mistaking its Neue Klasse design traits. Check out the video to see the original concept and compare for yourself.

In earlier news, BMW said it was working on a quad-motor powertrain setup for its all-electric M lineup. The company hopes to make 1,000 horsepower (750 kilowatts) the new norm for such cars.
