Mitsubishi Colt dresses up like a Ralliart car

The Czech branch of Mitsubishi has unveiled Colt Performance, a hot hatch a local team of mechanics built on their own. It is unclear if the company plans to mass-produce these, but a few more will probably be made for enthusiasts.

On the exterior side of things, this Colt immediately stands out thanks to its Ralliart-inspired vinyl wrap. It also sports a front splitter, side sills and 18-inch OZ Racing wheels.

The base car is a range-topping non-hybrid spec powered by a 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbo engine. In its Czech implementation, the engine outputs 101 PS (100 hp / 75 kW) and 160 Nm (118 lb-ft) of torque. Mitsubishi dials it further up to 129 PS (127 hp / 95 kW) and 222 Nm (164 lb-ft).

The tuners behind the build claim that the power increase, however small, noticeably improves handling thanks to the five-door hatchback weighing only around a metric ton (2,200 lbs). There is no mention of any chassis or suspension tweaks.
