Stellantis to invest €2B into Italy factories

The American automotive giant plans to put another two billion euros into developing its manufacturing sites in Italy.

Furthermore, the company says it actually expects its Maserati factory in Modena to evolve into its main luxury vehicle production site worldwide. In 2025, Stellantis plans to start assembling DS7, DS N°8, Jeep Compass and Lancia Gamma models in Italy – as you can see, most of these have hybrid and all-electric powertrain options popular in Europe.

Aside from the above, the automaker plans to launch three new Alfa Romeos in Italy next year, including one new model and the next generations of the Giulia and the Stelvio.
