EV sales conitnue their freefall in Germany
Electric cars have been selling progressively worse in Germany for half a year now, and the fresh statistics for August doesn’t inspire much hope, either.
Overall light passenger car sales dropped by 28% in August 2024 compared to the same month in 2023. At the same time, EV sales took a nosedive of negative 69% year-on-year.
Tesla has fared the worst so far, losing 66% year-on-year in the last month of the summer.
