1st-gen Porsche Macan hangs around in the USA
The first generation of the Porsche Macan is no longer available in Europe due to strict cybersecurity standards, but the United States will hold on to the 10-year-old SUV until 2026.
The corresponding statement comes from Porsche. Apparently, the old Macan still sells reasonably well and remains fully compliant on the American market, so it should be good to stay there until the end of 2026.
In case you were wondering where the place for a second-gen Macan went – the car is actually there, but it’s completely electric and isn’t selling well enough to discontinue its ICE counterpart just yet.
