2025 Tesla Model Y to reach production soon, reports claim

According to a number of media reports from China, Tesla plans to launch the production of its new Model Y “Juniper” at the beginning of the next year.

The SUV is expected to get the same range of updates as the Model 3 saloon before it, ending up with revised looks, some interior tweaks and upgraded tech.

According to these still-unofficial reports, the new Model Y will be made at Gigafactory Shanghai starting from January 2025. Later into the year, the company is expected to expand the lineup by introducing a long-wheelbase seven-seater version.
