Honda suspends 3 SUVs from a crane
Honda has devised an original way to demonstrate to everyone how robust the frame of its next-gen Passport SUV chassis is.
Technicians rigged together a trio of Passports using their towing eyes and suspended the resulting chain on a high-rise crane.
According to Honda, the car at the top experienced a strain as high as 6,350 kilograms (14,000 pounds) on its towing eyes and frame. The fact that it wasn’t visibly deformed should prove the exceptional rigidity of the new Passport chassis.
