Beat a 2 year wait list; the allocations for the GR are sold out globally until 2023, and sadly is/will not be offered by Al Futtaim.
After a much anticipated (8 painful months), she's finally in the UAE (bought from the Toyota dealer in Germany).
She sadly will need to go to a better home (ideally someone that plans to track her).
I'd incurred relatively high shipping costs (thank you COVID), and a couple of hic-cups along the way (6k+ euros Tax ++++); not a distress sale (appreciate genuine offers close to asking price, which is well below the 315,000 they were going for not long ago).
She's not yet been named, as it's best to leave this to her new "master". Guaranteed to be heaps of fun on the track, and the Toyota badge only means that she'll be easier on your pocket in the long run (initially not so easy)))
Some of the geeky stuff, in case you didn't already know:
1) She happens to be powered by "The world’s most powerful 3 cylinder production engine, producing a 156kW/tonne power-to-weight ratio."
2) She owns a pair of "Rear double wishbone suspension" which by default means even a dummy can hit the corners "precisely on road and track".
3) She comes with a "GR-Four All-Wheel Drive with adjustable torque distribution" ; you can have her b*m slide around corners if that's your thing.
4) A lightweight body, thanks to a carbon-fiber polymer roof with aluminum bonnet, doors, and rear hatch; she's the hipster new age trendy "almost" Vegan on track ))))
For any further details, please feel free to WhatsApp
