Ford Focus set to retire in Europe
Ford Europe has confirmed plans to take the Focus lineup out of production in November 2025.
The compact-sized Ford Focus debuted 27 years ago and reached its fourth generation in 2018. The EU market version is being made in Germany right now.
With the car set to leave Europe for good like it did with North America a while ago, there will be no Ford light passenger cars left on sale in the region – only SUVs and crossovers. That’s in line with Ford’s recent shift towards the more profitable SUV segment of the market.
