Car Tuning
Few supercars have garnered as much criticism and polarized feedback as the renowned Lamborghini Countach (LP5000S QV). One thing was certain: its design was, and remains to this day, unique and inimitable. Still, Bruce Canepa found a few things to improve.
The facelifted Countach emerged in a series of 610 units in 1985–1988 and bet it all on the retro-futuristic looks, as well as the sophisticated new V12 under the hood. The cabin was almost an afterthought for the Italian sports car maker, resulting in a design that prompted a range of epithets from ‘minimalistic’ to ‘scarcely decent’.
This is exactly what Canepa addressed in his cabin overhaul, trimming the seats, the doors, the ceiling and the lower front panel with white leather and the dashboard with green Alcantara.
To us, this looks like the perfect cabin design for a racer – comfortable enough while not too soft. And what do you think?
