GAC Trumpchi S7 interior details revealed

GAC has revealed the cabin of the Trumpchi S7, a new SUV it announced last November. Sales will start sometime in the first half of 2025, but most specs are already known – let’s review them.

The dashboard design is fairly laconic but layered, with slim climate vents, a large infotainment screen, a modest-sized digital dash cluster and a dual-spoke steering wheel. The climate control panel is rather small and offers two joysticks for easy adjustment. Two wireless smartphone chargers are included in the base trim, but you can go further and order a two-color leather trim for some added visual punch.

The size is specified as 4,900 x 1,950 x 1,780 millimeters (191.4 x 76.2 x 69.5 inches) with 2,880 mm (112.5 inches) between the axles. Customers in China will be choosing between two hybrid powertrains – PHEV and range extender. The latter is rated up to 1,000 km (621 miles) per tank. GA also promises us “Level 2++” self-driving, which means the car should be able to find its way around even without detailed digital maps to go by.
