Singer builds its first Porsche 911 DLS restomod out of 75

Singer Vehicle Design has wrapped up working on a 1989 Porsche 964, converting the sports coupe into the ultimate restomod. Singer Board Chairman Rob Dickinson himself test-drove the car and said it was ‘a fantastic experience’.

The company will now be issuing 75 such cars in Great Britain, all powered by a purpose-built 4.0-liter, quad-valve, naturally aspirated flat-six engine co-designed with the legendary Porsche designer Hans Mezger. The air-cooled mill can rev up to 9,000 RPM and produces 500 PS (493 hp / 368 kW).
