Toyota Corolla Cross price and availability announced for the USA

Toyota debuted the Corolla Cross in June this year and will be launching it in October priced from $22,195.

The crossover-like hatchback will only be available with one engine at the moment, specifically a 2.0-liter gasoline one rated at 171 PS (169 hp / 126 kW) and 203 Nm (150 lb-ft) of torque. In its most basic ‘L’ trim spec, the drive is on the front axle, but you can add $1,300 and get AWD. A hybrid variant might be introduced later.

The Corolla Cross LE begins from $24,545 and the XLE from $26,325. The highest XLE spec costs $27,625 before options.

Standard equipment includes a 7-inch multimedia display, keyless entry, LED headlights, and USD ports. The LE adds a wireless charger pad, 17-inch alloys, leather steering wheel, and heated side mirrors. The XLE rides on 18-inch wheels, offers 10-way adjustments for the driver’s seat, and packs a two-zone climate control.
