VW still on track to shutting down domestic plants

Volkswagen Group has fallen on hard times and is struggling to get back up.

The most recent messages from the company made it clear that it is still considering selling multiple industrial sites in Germany to third parties. While the company didn’t elaborate on these plans, we suspect that the Chinese automakers who are eager to circumvent the EU import tariffs may take interest in these facilities.
