Mansory unveils another Urus coupe conversion, and it’s the boldest so far

Renowned German tuning company Mansory announced the project called Lamborghini Urus Venatus Coupe Evo C two years ago (see video). Only eight exclusive rides were planned for production, and the example introduced earlier this week looks extreme even compared to the rest of the bunch.

Starting with the front end, there is a massive splitter mounted below a new bumper and a host of aerodynamic canards. The hood and the upper body wear a chain link ornament (most likely a wrap), and the lower body kit wears a tri-pointed star pattern. We wouldn’t start to guess what they symbolize.

Just as over-the-top is the rear end with its chunky diffuser, unique triple exhaust tips, and a trio of spoilers including two rear wings and a lip below the tailgate. Speaking of the tailgate, this Urus is no longer a five-door SUV but a three-door coupe. Mansory moves the b-pillar 20 cm (7.8 inches) back and gets rid of the rear doors completely, installing much larger front doors in the freed space.

With an exterior like this, the interior has no choice but to follow suit. And it does, using high-quality black leather and artificial suede sprinkled with the same star pattern all over. Don’t be confused by the turquoise tint on the windshield: unlike the tuner’s numerous other creations, this one is spared a shrill Mint Green cabin. That, at least, is a minor victory in our book.

And then there is the engine, a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 dialed to a cool 900 PS (888 hp / 662 kW) and 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft) of torque. When you need it, the Venatus Coupe Evo C will take you from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.9 seconds, Mansory says.
