Mini Countryman gets prepped for dirt, sand and snow

Delta4x4 has teamed up with six-time Dakar Rally winner X-Raid to design a special edition of the Mini Countryman. It’s nothing extreme, but should be enough for driving on dirt roads, as well as snow and sand.

The kit includes 18-inch Klassik-B Rugged wheels shod in Loder tires, a lift kit that results in 40 mm (1.6 inches) of extra ground clearance, and sporty orange accents for the exterior. No structural reinforcements, no expedition rack and no extra LEDs – just the bare minimum. Evidently, the idea is that the Countryman won’t make a perfect off-roader anyway, so it makes sense to just spruce it up a little for weekends out in the wild.

There are no pricing details yet. The previous-generation lift kit is listed on the tuner’s website for €666, and the wheels start around €3,000 for a full set.
