Unique Dodge Power Wagon Crew Cab is up for $450k

A completely restored 1953 Dodge Power Wagon with a large five-seat cab is on sale in the USA right now. Dodge never offered this particular generation of the truck as a Crew Cab, and the seller hopes the exclusivity value is worth the $450,000 asking price.

It’s not just about being unique, of course. The truck is said to be in perfect condition with a fully restored vivid-red body and black trim all around. The tuners have added a Warn winch to the front, flared the fenders quite generously, and rebuilt the entire suspension using modern components. Bronze-tinted wheels slotted into the arches along with 39-inch off-road tires, and disc brakes were installed at both ends.

The brakes have their work cut out for them, too. A new 2.8-liter, four-cylinder Cummins turbo diesel delivers much more than the model’s stock 95 PS (94 hp / 70 kW) and 251 Nm (185 lb-ft) of torque to the wheels. The listing doesn’t mention the specific numbers, though.

Rounding off the expensive project is a full interior makeover in black leather. There are five seats in total – two separate ones at the front and a bench for three at the back. The dashboard sports some convincing retro gauges, but there’s an infotainment touchscreen sitting next to it that dispels the illusion. It’s a restomod, and it’s not ashamed to look like one.
