10-year-old Porsche 911 Turbo gets tuned to 1,111 PS and 1,250 Nm

German tuning company 9FF has posted a sale ad for a 2014 Porsche 911 (991.1) Turbo. The car has been restored and modified, nearly doubling its output in the process.

The biggest change is the engine tune to 1,111 PS (1,096 hp / 817 kW) and 1,250 Nm (922 lb-ft) of torque. To achieve it, the tuners bored out the stock flat-six engine from its original 3.8 to full 4 liters of displacement. They also replaced the pistons, the connecting rods and the turbos. The PDK transmission ended up with a new heavy-duty coupling and more robust housings, and the cooling was improved all around to prevent overheating.

You can recognize this one-off build by its tinted headlights, white taillights and Asphalt Dreams single-piece forged wheels in the arches. The brakes are ceramic all around and the 89mm exhaust system is new, too.

A peek inside reveals a button-free steering wheel borrowed from the more recent 911.2 GT3 model, as well as blacked-out silver trim bits. The “Edition 1111” lettering on the side sills refers to the theoretical performance cap, but the car on sale is actually capped at 1,000 PS (986 hp / 736 kW) in order to remain street-legal.
