JAC T9 scores top safety points Down Under
The China-made JAC T9 pickup has passed rigorous crash tests in Australia with flying colors.
ANCAP has awarded the truck five stars for safety out of five. In absolute terms, the vehicle earned 34.29 points out of the maximum 40.
The Australian version of the JAC T9 ships with a full suite of driving aids and electronic safety assists, such as automatic emergency braking. The test crew emphasized that it would never score full five stars without these assists.
