Cupra Ateca set to leave production

The Ateca – the first production vehicle introduced by Cupra after it became a standalone brand seven years ago – will permanently leave the market before the end of this quarter.

Cupra dealerships in German stopped taking orders for the SUV last month. The new Cupra Terramar will be offered as a replacement.

Interestingly, Seat has no plans to discontinue its own Ateca production. The company plans to keep making it through 2030, with a facelift planned for 2027.
