AC Cars has a production car coming for SEMA

After announcing the comeback of its Ace model, UK automaker AC Cars has followed up with a promise to give it an electric twin.

The Ace EV Roadster will debut at the SEMA show next week. It will arrive there packing a powertrain known as the Tremec Electric GT, composed of a single electric motor with 306 PS (300 hp / 224 kW) and a battery pack holding 72 kilowatt-hours of charge.

With a curb weight as low as 1,134 kilos (2,500 pounds), the Ace EV is expected to have a range of at least 322 kilometers (200 miles). The minimum price is estimated at U.S. $275,000.
