Xiaomi SU7 Ultra goes on sale, undercutting Taycan Turbo GT

Following its introduction this summer, Xiaomi’s all-electric hyper-saloon is already available for ordering in China.

Prices start from 814,900 Yuan, which amounts to U.S. $114,409 at the current rates. The first deliveries are planned for March 2025.

According to Car News China quoting Lei Jun, founder and CEO of the electronics giant Xiaomi, the new SU7 Ultra has all it takes to outperform the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT on the Chinese domestic market. The German EV offers considerably less performance at a price point of 1,998,000 Yuan, which corresponds to $280,512. That’s nearly two and a half times as much money.
