Next-gen Alfa Romeo Giulia is an SUV

Alfa Romeo has confirmed that the Giulia sedan (see gallery and video) becomes an SUV in its next generation.

The corresponding statement was made by the company’s recently appointed CEO, Santo Ficili. He added that the car would no longer be available as a sedan and would look drastically different from the current version.

It will be based on the STLA platform designed by Stellantis and offer an improved interior layout, the latest in self-driving technology, and an infotainment system with AI features.
