Joe Rogan boasts his swanky 1,020-hp Model S Plaid

Unplugged Performance has come up with a sleek custom body kit for the Tesla Model S Plaid owned by U.S. comedian and radio host Joe Rogan.

The package is called S-Apex and comprises 19 parts made from prepreg carbon fiber. It includes 80mm (3.1-inch) fender flares, aerodynamic fins for the front wheel arches, an impressive rear diffuser and a trunk lid spoiler. The whole body was resprayed in a pearlescent shade of white with a bluish sheen and wrapped in a paint protection film.

Stock wheels made room for 21-inch forged rims wearing Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Brakes were upgraded with carbon-ceramic rotors, and forged suspension arms were installed at both ends. The owner argues that these modifications are purely practical, helping the heavyweight EV perform better in corners.

With 1,034 PS (1,20 hp / 761 kW) at its disposal, we are also inclined to believe that the Plaid needs all the handling and stability upgrades it can take.
