BMW predicts an EV sales drop in the USA
The Bavarian company expects its electric vehicle sales to decline in the United States, but assures us that the overall demand for BMWs will continue strong.
65% of all BMW models sold in the USA are being made locally. The automaker says it can ramp up this share to avoid barrier fees and tariffs, so it looks like it is largely immune to Donald Trump’s latest initiatives.
Furthermore, the company promises to keep its beloved I6 and V8 engines alive on the North American market, another move that should ensure it a steady demand over the next few years.
