Kahn Design updates its Defender 90 offering

Even aftermarket companies as experienced as Kahn Design have to evolve their design language to stay competitive. Having delivered countless custom Land Rover Defenders, Kahn has now decided on a future direction for itself.

What you see here is called the Concept 001. It’s a very bold take on the Defender 90 and also a preview of what’s to come. The off-roader looks simultaneously rugged and deluxe with its flared fenders, carbon-fiber rear diffuser, vented hood and branded spare wheel cover. The whole underbody is finished with a textured scratch-resistant paint, and 20-inch Hammerhead RS forged wheels fill out the arches with considerable style.

The interior is just as striking with black leather and Britannia Blue accents all around. As usual, customers can pick virtually any trim combo they like. It’s unclear whether any drivetrain upgrades are on the table.

Prices for a Defender 90 conversion like this start from £25,000 in the UK. This apparently includes taxes, installation and finishing.
