Mercedes-AMG GT R Pro gets a trio of power upgrades

German tuning company G-Power favors BMW cars in its projects, but its latest work is dedicated to the great Mercedes-AMG GT R Pro, which gets three engine tuning kits.

In its stock form, the sports car sends 585 PS (577 hp / 430 kW) to the wheels. Once tuned to Stage 3 spec, it begins to output 800 PS (789 hp / 588 kW). The torque simultaneously increases to 900 Nm (664 lb-ft). On the flip side, a tune-up like this has a high price – G-Power asks for €44,786.

There are two cheaper options if you don’t need that many horses. One promises 700 PS (690 hp / 515 kW) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque for €10,580. The other one brings along 680 PS (671 hp / 500 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque for €15,340. No, we don’t know why the pricing is like this; it seems like a typo, but that’s how it is stated on the tuner’s website.

Further options for AMG GT R Pro owners shopping at G-Power include the company’s signature Hurricane wheels, a sports steering wheel with carbon inserts, velour floor mats and assorted leather trim options for the interior.
