Renowned Dodge Challenger restomod hits auction block again

eXoMod Concepts took delivery of a 1968 Dodge Challenger a few years ago and turned it into a true work of art on wheels. The result proceeded to change multiple owners and is now being offered for sale.

Don’t be fooled by the vintage charms of the car: only the body resembles that of the original. The chassis and the powertrain come from a modern Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye, so it packs a punch to rival most modern sports cars. The engine slams the wheels with 797 PS (786 hp / 586 kW) and 959 Nm (707 lb-ft) of torque. The driver gets line lock, launch control and an eight-speed automatic to work with.

Aside from an Electric Blue Pearl exterior, the restomod has an all-new cabin. It also has less than 1,200 km (745 miles) under its belt, likely because of its status as a collector’s rarity.

Back when it first went up on sale in July 2022, the eXoMod C68 Carbon fetched its creators a cool $395,000. It was later sold on for $295,000 and is now up for grabs again with the bidding at $160,000.
