Another Ford F-150 Raptor dresses up as apocalypse prepper
Apocalypse Manufacturing has unveiled a tuned Ford F-150 that looks like it eats rough terrain for breakfast. In a remarkable display of restraint, the company didn’t give it a third wheel axle this time around – but the rest is more or less as we expected.
For starters, the engine under the hood was massaged to deliver 720 PS (710 hp / 530 kW) and 868 Nm (640 lb-ft) of torque. Heavy-duty bumpers replaced the stock parts, the suspension ended up with a considerable lift, and 40-inch off-road tires were wrapped around new pale-golden wheels.
The body received the standard Apocalypse treatment: boldly flared fenders, a roll cage, and auxiliary lighting for driving in adverse weather conditions. The interior hasn’t been revealed yet.
Plan to spend at least $200,000 or so if you want a truck like this one.
