Manhart launches a badass BMW M240i with 450 PS

Back in 2021, the tuners over at Manhart in Germany drew up an aerodynamic package for the regular BMW 2-Series coupe. It’s been a while, but the package is finally ready to ship now with some useful extras.

Listed on the tuner’s website as the MH2 450, it adds 66 horsepower to the output of the car’s 3.0-liter inline-six, for a total of 450 PS (444 hp / 331 kW). That’s plenty, but still a bit short of the 480 PS (473 hp / 353 kW) produced by the range-topping BMW M2. If you want to squeeze every bit of extra power and torque from the engine, Manhart has you covered with custom Stage 2 and Stage 3 tuning options.

An active-valve exhaust system with four tailpipes can be installed to enhance the sound profile and the aesthetic of the rear end. A more complete look can be attained with a full carbon-fiber body kit including a splitter, side skirts, a rear diffuser and an enlarged spoiler. Fender flares are listed as an option, but they are nowhere to be seen in the gallery below.

The stock wheels can make room for a set of Concave One 20-inch alloys with a white finish, and Manhart suggests lowering the suspension while you’re at it. There are two options here: fixed-height springs and adjustable coilovers.

All prices are already available on the website. Going for the full body kit will set you back €6,590, getting the coilovers costs €6,499 extra, and all the fancy decals for the body and the cabin come in at a cool €5,695 total.
