Ram developing a mid-size pickup for the USA
Stellantis has charged Ram with designing a fairly small pickup truck for the North American market, says Ram brand CEO Chris Feuell.
Speaking in his latest interview, Feuell promised that the new truck would “surprise” us, but declined further comment.
Right now, the Ram vehicle lineup for North America consists exclusively of large pickups. In Latin and South America, the company is offering a mid-sized Ram 1200 model based on a platform sourced from Changan and a compact Ram Rampage, which eschews frame for a cheaper unibody design.
