Volkswagen Lavida gets a “Pro” version in China

The Lavida sedan (see video) produced at the SAIC-Volkswagen factory in China will soon be available in a slightly upmarket trim version called Pro.

Judging by the certification data submitted to the country’s database, it will be 4,720 mm long, 1,806 mm wide and 1,482 mm tall with 2,688 mm of wheelbase. Customers will be able to choose from two available front fascia designs.

For the powertrain, the only option listed in the database is a 1.5-liter engine rated at 110 PS (108 hp / 81 kW) working in tandem with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. As usual, other options may or may not become available on launch day.
